This three screen film responds to a prehistoric camp on the marginalized landscape of Whitehawk hill on the edge of Brighton, UK. The work was made over the course of a year with environmental performance company Red Earth young men from Abandofbrothers, a male mentor group, archaeologist Matt Pope and the wider local community. The film interprets the prehistoric history of this unremarkable seeming landscape through a combination of staged events and landscape portraiture based on archaeological finds.
